
RENTAL CONDITIONS
Renter Requirements :
The Renter and any additional drivers must be 21 years old and have at least 1 year of driving experience, with the exception of drivers aged 30 and over.
The Renter must be at least 23 years old to rent one of the following car classes: Sedans, SUVs
The Renter and any additional drivers must have valid identification documents: passport/ID card and driving license. If the customer provides a driving license that is NOT issued by a member state of the European Economic Area (EEA) or the Swiss Confederation, he/she must provide an International Driving Permit or a legalized translation of the original driving license (an original driving license must always be provided). An International Driving Permit can be requested and obtained online on this page.
A partial or full prepayment must be made at the time of booking, the balance of the rental on site, if applicable, must be paid and a security deposit must be left on site when renting the car.
Please note: Operator Licenses will not be accepted. Personal documents and driving licenses must be valid for the entire rental period.
What is included in the rental price :

Rental duration :
Minimum rental duration 24 hours.
Fuel :
The car is supplied with a full tank and, according to the terms of the contract, must be returned with a full tank. In case of returning the car with an incomplete tank, the customer pays a "missing fuel" tax at the price of €1.50/l. and an administrative fee of €15, except in cases where he has paid a "Prepaid fuel" tax.
Electric vehicles are supplied with a charge of 80% to 90%. When returning an electric vehicle with a battery charge of less than 80%, the customer pays the missing electricity at €0.50 per kWh and an administrative fee of €15.
Deposit :
When renting the car, the RENTER is obliged to leave a deposit using a credit card (Visa or Mastercard) issued in his name. The credit card must be valid at least until the end of the rental. If the rental lasts more than 25 days, the RENTER is obliged to go to the nearest office of the company or via a deposit renewal link provided by the LESSOR in order to make a new deposit, before the 25th day from the start of the rental.
The value of the deposit will be €500 for mini-city cars and city cars, and €800 for sedans and SUVs.
In case the customer is a young driver – the deposit will be doubled.
Payment method :
When booking, you can make a partial prepayment (20% of the final price) or a full prepayment with:

Your card will be charged by "Wishbonebg" - the legal name of our company. If a partial prepayment has been made, the renter must pay the remaining amount when renting the car. Possible payment methods are Visa, Mastercard, bank transfer.
Prices indicated on the website are in EUR and BGN. Payments are made in Bulgarian leva at the BNB exchange rate.
If you need an INVOICE, you must request it at the time of payment. Invoices are issued within 5 calendar days from the date of payment.
Coverage and insurance :
Civil liability – included in the price and mandatory on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria
CDW + TP – limitation of liability in case of damage (CDW) or theft (TP) to the amount of the deposit. It is valid only upon submission of a traffic police report and return of documents and keys to the rented car. It does not apply in case of use of drugs, alcohol or other narcotics, as well as non-compliance with traffic regulations. Included in the rental price.
Cancellation :
A confirmed reservation can be refused/changed up to 72 hours before the start of the rental period, free of charge. If the reservation is cancelled/modified less than 72 hours before the start of the rental period, a fee of 20% of the final rental price will be charged, but not less than the rental price for 1 day, as well as the value of the delivery fee in case of cancellation/modification of the reservation, less than 24 hours before the start of the rental period. Additional services included in the reservation are not included in the penalty.
Failure to appear "no show" :
If the Renter does not show up to pick up his reserved car within 4 hours of the agreed rental time, the reservation will be considered cancelled and the customer will owe a penalty corresponding to the total amount of the delivery fee and 20% of the reservation amount, but not less than one day of rental. Additional services included in the reservation are not included in the penalty. Cases of no show are when the renter:
Wishes to cancel the reservation, but has not notified us before the start of the rental
Due to some circumstances he was unable to pick up the car at the agreed time and date and he has not informed about it. Exceptions are renters who have indicated that they are arriving with a flight and have provided its number, and their delay is precisely due to a delayed flight
Fail to provide a valid identity card, driving license, international driving license and control coupon, which are necessary to pick up the car
Does not have sufficient money to pay the full price of the reservation and/or does not have the possibility to leave a deposit for the car according to the conditions of the range concerned
Upcoming reservation change :
Changes to the reservation, the renter can make, upon request by e-mail or by phone call to our head office. A confirmed reservation can be changed up to 72 hours before the start of the rental period, free of charge.
In the event of a change in the rental period, the rental price is recalculated according to the prices in force for the new period.
In the event that the renter has booked a car through our partner – reservation system – all changes before the rental are processed directly by the reservation system through which the renter has booked. For any changes to the reservation, it is necessary to contact this service. In these cases, Wishbone BG only performs the service.
Change/extension of the reservation after the start of the rental :
If the renter wishes to extend his reservation, he must notify us in writing, at least 48 hours before the expiration of the contract. The extension of the contract period and, therefore, the use of the car by the Renter will only become valid upon receipt of the written confirmation from the Renter and if the payment for the extension is made within 24 hours of the confirmation of the extension. The price of the extension of the reservation is calculated according to the current price list based on the total number of rental days. We recommend that you request an extension of your reservation as soon as possible due to the risk of stock shortages. In the event that the customer does not pay for his extension before the expiration of his current contract, he may be subject to late payment penalties as defined in the general conditions of the rental contract.
When the customer needs to extend his rental that includes a departure abroad, the amount of 50% of the initial fee must be paid to extend the validity of the power of attorney and the documents required to go abroad must be reissued and received from the customer.
IMPORTANT: After confirmation by the lessor of the possibility of extending the rental, the lessee must make the payment for the additional rental days, within 24 hours, in order to confirm the extension of the contract. The extension is confirmed only after receipt of the payment within the aforementioned period, but no later than the date and time on which the contract is valid. Once the payment is made, the necessary documents will be available at the office of the company where the car was provided. Wishbone BG is not responsible for the consequences in the event that the customer did not show up to receive the documents.
What insurance and supplements do not cover :
Missing details or accessories (equipment)
Damage to the interior of the car
Missing or damaged personal belongings of the renter
Damage that occurred due to a violation of traffic regulations
All types of damage that occurred while driving a car by a person not listed in the rental agreement
All damage that occurred after the end of the rental period specified in the agreement
Renter's Rights :
If there was a delay in renting the car due to the fault of the renter, the lessor has the right to ask for an increase in the rental period with a similar period.
If the renter did not rent the car booked by him on time due to the fault of the lessor, the renter has the right to ask for a refund of a part of the prepayment, depending on the delay period. If the renter cancels the services due to a delay of the lessor, the prepayment will have to be refunded.
If the lessor cannot provide a car on a confirmed reservation, the renter has the right to ask for a free upgrade or a refund of the prepayment made by him.
No other compensation is envisaged.
Responsibilities of the renter:
Comply with the Traffic Rules
Ensure the safety and security of the rented car
Keep the car securely locked
Return the car within the period specified in the rental agreement
Pay all possible fines and violations to the traffic police and the police
Cover the value of lost parts, accessories, keys, documents and license plates and others according to the price list
Pay the smoking tax in the car and cover the cost of dry cleaning the passenger compartment in case of serious pollution
Cover the rental fee for the entire period of the car's stay, if it is stopped by the traffic police due to a violation of the Traffic Rules by the renter
What is prohibited with the rented car :
Smoking in the car
Renting the car to third parties
Driving under the influence of alcohol or narcotics
Repair
Participating in competitions
Towing another vehicle or trailer
Use for training inexperienced drivers
Failure to comply with factory specifications for load capacity and/or number of passengers
Handing over the car to third parties not specified in the rental agreement
Driving the car off the road
Transportation of animals, excluding travel cages, designed for this purpose
Use for commercial purposes, paid transportation of people, goods and others
Use of the vehicle to transport illegal resident citizens
Responsibilities of the renter :
The lessor guarantees the car class. In the event that the lessor cannot provide a car of the reserved class, he is obliged to provide a car of a higher class on his behalf or cancel the reservation with a full refund of the prepayment to the renter.
The lessor guarantees that the vehicle provided is technically sound, has all the necessary documents, a small coupon, a technical inspection, liability insurance and a paid vignette.
The lessor is obliged to make the reserved rental car available to the customer on the date and time previously agreed, allowing for a normal delay of up to 30 minutes.
In the case of a prepaid confirmed reservation, the lessor is obliged to wait for the customer to show up within 4 hours after the pre-specified rental time. After this period, the reservation may be cancelled as a "no show" and removed from the working hours.
An exception is made for reservations made upon prior request at an address other than the address of the company's headquarters. In these cases, the lessor is obliged to wait for the customer to show up within 20 minutes, after the previously agreed rental time. After this period, the lessor is not obliged to wait for the renter. The booking will always be registered within 4 hours and can then be cancelled as a "no show" and removed from the working schedule.
The lessor, respectively the employees/representatives of the lessor, are not liable for (direct/indirect/subsequent) loss of profit/income or expenses incurred by the lessee, as well as for damages suffered by the lessee or other persons arising from or in connection with the use, inability to use or delay in the provision of a car. The lessor is not liable for the disappearance and theft of personal belongings from the car.
Rights of the lessor :
The lessor reserves the right to refuse to provide its services to the lessee for safety reasons and for technical reasons related to the reserved car. The lessor undertakes to refund the sums paid by the lessor for the service not provided.
The lessor has the right to terminate the contract early and take back the car if:
The lessor breaches the terms of the contract
The car is abandoned
The car has not been returned at the time and place agreed in the contract
The vehicle is damaged
The lessor or a police officer or any other competent authority has reason to believe that the driving of the lessee (or that of the authorized driver) may present a real danger to himself and/or to any other person
The normal operation of the rented car in terms of mileage is 150 km on average per day during the rental period. In case of finding a consumption exceeding the normal operation of the car, the lessor reserves the right to terminate the service provided, as well as not to provide its services to tenants who, during previous rentals, have proven to have exceeded the normal operation determined by the lessor.
